WIP Wednesday Roundup

Enter the Name that Gnome
Giveaway!  Don’t Delay!
Quick reminder first – go enter my giveaway if you haven’t already and help Name that Gnome for a chance to win fabric!  Also, I’m doing a survey on quilting to be shared on an upcoming podcast episode.  Please take a moment and go fill it out it is only 10 questions.

Quick summary of what I’ve got going on:

3 Dog Ribbon Quilts – just need to sew on the buttons, clip final threads and run them through the wash.  Was able to get all the binding on last night and attach the hanging strips.  I broke in the automatic buttonhole maker on my machine and whipped out 12 buttonholes on Monday.

Butterfly Applique Quilt – I finished the appliqué on Sunday!! Yay!  I trimmed the panels.  Now it is ready for construction to put the top together. I haven’t chosen a back for it yet.  I might use that leaf batik I have in my closet.

Lap Quilt Commissions – I’ve sketched out a design after much deliberation.  Something that will piece up quickly but still look nice. I just need to find a good font to put all the names in and once I get back I can start cutting fabric for the first one.

And if you’re following me on Facebook you already know about the new project:

Finally doing a tumbling blocks quilt!  The placement will be random.  I just threw up one pack to see what I’d get on my design wall.
