Free Pattern Friday – Sunbonnet Sue Edition

Lately, I’ve been kind of obsessed with quilts containing Sunbonnet Sue and her counterpart (some call him Sam or Bill) so I wanted to link all the free templates I could find containing patterns with her and him in them.   Marti Michell – Going Fabric Shopping with Sunbonnet Sue – The pattern that I’m using currently is one hosted at Marti Mitchell’s website.  She did an entire quilt around this pattern (which I’m not doing) but the templates are really {Read More}

I have a secret side project that I’m working on.  Well, I guess not so secret since I’m sharing it with you.  Nevertheless – I thought I’d give you a sneak peek at the beginnings of it!  Too cute to not share. Other than that I’m only working on finishing the Princess quilt top and getting fabric for the next lap quilt.

Free Pattern Friday – Charm Pack Edition

I purchased some new charm packs from Missouri Star Quilt Company and thought it would be fun to find some cool projects that use charm packs since I will need some ideas anyway. Sunday Squares Wall-hanging 1 Charm Pack (44 squares) Plus 1 yard of background fabric for top This looks interesting!  Uses half-square triangles and quarter square triangles.  A bit tedious but I think with the right charm pack and background fabric you could have a stunning quilt to {Read More}

WIP Wednesday

Haven’t done one of these in a while! I updated my Current Projects page since it was terribly out of date.  Hard to believe I have that number of projects either ongoing or now in UFO status.  I need to whittle that down!    My list of planned projects is growing lengthy. This week I took a few nights off out of exhaustion.  Tonight I have to make Bernie’s dog food for the next two weeks so I’m not sure how {Read More}
