Free Pattern Friday – Charm Pack Edition

I purchased some new charm packs from Missouri Star Quilt Company and thought it would be fun to find some cool projects that use charm packs since I will need some ideas anyway.
1 Charm Pack (44 squares)
Plus 1 yard of background fabric for top
This looks interesting!  Uses half-square triangles and quarter square triangles.  A bit tedious but I think with the right charm pack and background fabric you could have a stunning quilt to hang on your wall.
I really like how they are off set.  Makes it really playful.
This pattern does require about 3 charm packs depending on the color pattern you want.
Lots of pieces to cut in this pattern.  You are making HST and snowball blocks.
The pattern itself uses 57 charm squares and for the inner and outer borders you’ll need additional fabric.
I think the pattern is cute especially if you choose fabrics from some of those awesome charm packs out there.  The sample wall-hangings are kind of bland in my opinion.  I’d do something fun and bright with it!
Such a cute take on the cathedral window.  This could easily be turned into a quilt block if you wanted to spend more time making more of these.
This is also a great way to learn how to make the cathedral window block if you were ever curious about it.  The photo tutorial is awesome and very detailed.  You are shown exactly what to do at each step which is my favorite kind of tutorial.  Angela Nash did a fantastic job with this!
