Free Pattern Friday – Sunbonnet Sue Edition

Lately, I’ve been kind of obsessed with quilts containing Sunbonnet Sue and her counterpart (some call him Sam or Bill) so I wanted to link all the free templates I could find containing patterns with her and him in them.
Marti Michell – Going Fabric Shopping with Sunbonnet Sue – The pattern that I’m using currently is one hosted at Marti Mitchell’s website.  She did an entire quilt around this pattern (which I’m not doing) but the templates are really cute and versatile.  Her quilt is really cute though!

Southern Lady Sunbonnet Sue Quilt –  Finished Blocks are 17″ x 19″ so you get a VERY large block when you use this pattern.  This pattern contains an example of the 12 different ladies with parasols in various colors.  Also contains yardage requirements and tracing template for appliqué.  Very cute southern take on Sunbonnet Sue!
This would make a great small wall-hanging too if you decided to adapt it into something more manageable.
