All the flowers I’ve sewn together so far and some new petals I’m thread basting. I really like it. Such a fun project.
The growing tower of layer cake squares. I’m cutting the yellow fabric now so that will slowly grow to the size of the blue eventually.

What are you going to make with all the hexagon flowers? I'm still working on mine but not sure what to do with them all!
I'm hoping to have enough to put into a quilt one day. I'd like at least a lap sized quilt. It would likely have a double row of white hexagons to separate all the flowers from each other so they really stand out. Not a project I'm in a hurry to "finish" since I really like how easily it travels.
It'll be interesting to see how many I have done when I go on my cruise in 2013.
Maybe by then I'll be able to start piecing it all together!
