Free Pattern Friday – Quick Gifts x 3

Now is the time to start thinking about those pesky holiday gifts that always seem to sneak up on you.  Start now and you’ll have plenty to pass out for co-workers, family and friends when holiday season hits!  Here are a few ideas:
I love how handy these are!  Quick to make and a great way to use up those extra bits of interfacing you might have lying around.  Dig into your scrap bin and get an even better use out of your scraps!  You can embellish with buttons, flowers, applique and more to make them super unique.

It would be easy to adjust the size if you needed to for a larger or smaller box.  With a little bit of math you could probably even do a nesting set.

Using charm squares (or any size square you have lying around) these are quick and easy to produce.  Another great way to use up spare batting scraps.  No binding needed since the edges are turned inside out.

Choose an already patterned fabric so you don’t even have to worry about how to quilt it!

Pinwheel blocks made from charm packs work well for this method too and already offer a nice design.

Turtle Pincushion Combo – Craft Passion

This is the perfect gift for the fellow quilter or sewer in your life.  It holds thread, pins, scissors and lots of cute!

The PDF pattern for the turtle shapes can be found on the tutorial page.

I love how cute this one is!
