A Little Something for Halloween

Somehow all this Halloween fabric ended up in my stash so I decided to whip up something really quick for my office at work.  This is what I came up with!  The main panel is a remnant I found in a bin at Jo-Anns and the bottom part I appliqued on myself.  The cat and the bat came from Lori with the charms she sent to me during one of our swaps and I had to use those too!

Free motion quilting throughout.  I did it in a hurry so it isn’t my best work but I think it turned out cute and cheery.  I love the old fashioned portraits in the fabric I think they are adorable.

Hello Katie, I though I should introduce myself. I am the Amy that used your link for paperback swap. Hello! I had a question. Do feel like you have to wait a long time for books on your swap list. The ones that I looked for had alot of people waiting and no numbers showing how often the books came up as available for swapping…. Thanks so much for all the great podcasts. My husband thinks I am crazy b/c the other day I was piecing and listening to your podcast he came into the room and says, "who is that?" I said, "thats my friend Katie!" LOL I have never talked to you in my life but, thanks for keeping my company in the sewing room!

  6. VERY cute "quickie" quilt! I just love vintage labels and ads, especially with children. I have a ridiculous-sized collection of them in paper-form I keep meaning to scan and use in fabric form (one day). You did a great job and I'm sure it looks lovely hanging in your home.
