  1. I am doing QUILTER FOR THE REST OF US… RESOLUTIONS 2012. QUILTING things I want to work on; not necessarily UFOs or obligation projects. If I do not get the UFOs done they will find a good home. Right now I am being driven to make a quilt I designed myself.

  2. Hi Katie, your Orca Bay blocks look awsome. I'm not a 'pink' person but really like them. YOu pictures are very clear; would love to know what camera you have to make it so. I'm about to listen to your latest podcast.

  3. @ Nonnie – I'm doing the resolutions in addition to the QITG finish a long next year 🙂

@ Celia – The Pink Strings photo was taken on my iPhone 4. Generally if you see my watermark though I've used my Canon Rebel Xsi to take the photo.

  4. Just wanted to say hello and thank you for your podcasts! I'm a lifelong sewer who dabbles in quilting (but hope to have time to get more into it in the new year) and I've recently started listening to your podcast when I go for my weekly walk- it takes me about 50 minutes to do my route which works out perfectly with your podcast!

  5. Great podcast – thank you!

You had mentioned something about wanting to learn quilting with your embroidery machine. That's on my list for this next year as well. Would love it if you could post links to the tutorial and book you mentioned during the podcast, if you have a chance.

  6. @Emskyroony – Yay! So happy you're a new listener. Glad my length works to your advantage! I always worry my podcasts are too long.

@Marisa – What a great suggestion! I posted today on the blog about my machine embroidery books that I'm wishing for.

  7. I understand that fabric costs money and that it is good to buy fabric for projects, but I also don't think you should make yourself miserable about fabric buying. Some of the fun of quiltmaking is the fabric.
