I think the month of August is going to be Denim theme month since I just picked up a whole bunch of used jeans at the thrift store! I know I’ll have leftovers for days once I trim everything apart to save denim for rag quilts.

) I just threw out the seams of a pair of jeans when I was sewing the denim bib a few months ago…too bad 
LOL – Svetlana said the same thing below in Russian. I think a lot of people will be kicking themselves now. Oh well! Now you have another excuse to collect used blue jeans.
When I first saw the words “Denim Cathedral Window” all I could think about is how heavy a Cathedral Window quilt is and how much heavier it would be in denim. Then I noticed that the technique for making the quilt was the circle technique. Crisis averted!
I don’t think I’d add batting to it since it’ll be heavy enough without batting. It is on my MUST try list though for denim for sure. I saw one lady use all butterfly theme fabric for the insides and it came out looking amazing.
