My cruise is coming up fast! I’m thinking of all the things I want to make, prep to take or do before the cruise and my mind can’t stop spinning with ideas! I have to make a list. (I love making lists!)
- Make my camera strap pretty and have a matching lens cap pocket (my 17-50 Sigma 2.8 lens needs its own little cozy pocket).
- Embroider a tote bag with subway art that I found and add an applique palmtree. I haven’t found a tote bag that I like yet. I need to do some shopping this weekend at actual stores. Bealls might have some cute totes.
Optional: Transform a few of my cheap tank-tops into cute sundresses with knit skirt bottoms. Knits don’t wrinkle as bad as cotton and we aren’t allowed to bring irons on board. They have one in the laundry room but I don’t see myself visiting the laundry room ever on vacation.
Projects on board
I’ll only have handsewing projects while sailing. I’m probably going to pack my hexie bag and see if I can make some progress there. I need to cutout some 2.5″ white hexies on my Accuquilt before we leave. I’m itching for a new hand project but I don’t want to give up on this one either. I’m also loading my Nook Color up with books to read while relaxing up on deck.
