I’ve got a few honeybuns that I wanted to do something with and I think I’ve found their calling. This is a great little strippy quilt and involves only sewing straight lines! They have a regular jelly roll variation but I kind of like the small and the large strips in this version.
I think I might pull out my honeybuns and a jelly roll of solid strips and sew this up tomorrow.
The Strip sets are sewn like this:
Two honeybun strips together + solid strip + two honeybun strips
Then you layer two of those strip sets right sides together and sew them into the “tube” with the seams on the long side. You cut them the same way you would for the Summer in the Park quilt.





That is a great quilt. I need to try honeybuns.
