“Nostalgia” is coming along

I finished sewing the tubes last night and cut them into blocks! There were a lot of them, even with a few blocks I had to discard due to miscuts.

I scattered them across my pressing board so I could sort of randomize the placement.

I still have quite a few blocks left. I need to count them to see how many more rows I need

to make and figure out how big this quilt is going to be. I’m not bordering it. I rather like the design though. The fabric is still growing on me.

For those that haven’t followed the last few posts this is the Honeybun version of Summer in the Park.

The corgis watched from the doorway as I sewed the last few tubes together.

How would you quilt this?

This is coming along beautifully!! I love the fabrics you are using and that you pups are there to watch. My pups lay at my feet under my sewing station. 🙂

  2. Looking good! I love the company too. I have 3 dogs but only 1 will hang out with me while I cut and sew. A couple of times she had sneaked into the cutting area and I’ve stepped on her. 🙁

  3. I love how this is turning out. So pretty! I have a jelly roll from ages ago that I should pull out to do this with.
