These are fun monsters that Ellen of Handmade3d makes for comic con shows and such that she vends at. She does tons of Dr. Who creations! Aren’t they cute? She has an Etsy shop too.

All strung together!

It was a really fun afternoon all told. I’m starting a new quilt with my Robert Kaufman Poseidon fat quarter bundle. Right now I’m working on churning out tons of 2″ half-square triangle units using my fast and accurate foundation pieced method.

Hoping tomorrow will be productive too. Maybe I’ll even get a podcast episode out!

Comments

  1. Your dad loves Dr. Who! Don’t let him see this. LOL!

  2. Amy Laura says:

What an amazing sewing space! I love the bright, airy feel of the room. Some lovely projects being worked on, as well…

    • It’s a great little sewing room that Inspire! has in their quilt shop. The area of town it is in is cute too with tons of antique shops and cafes nearby. I have to hide my wallet when I go! 🙂

  3. Great photos Katie, you guys have a really nice space to sew together! What are you making with the 2″ hst-s?

    • Well right now the plan is some sort of a chevron quilt. I’m not sure how I’m going to lay it out but it’ll be variegated chevrons.

  4. Love those blues stacked up there! Those are the cutest stuffies, thanks for the etsy link.
