Pixel Lattice – Now Available for Purchase!

PixelLattice-0622I am so excited to show you my first pattern for sale! I love this block so much because of how many design possibilities it provides. It can be a scrap buster, meticulously planned colorway, monochrome, dark, light or rainbow block and it all seems to work beautifully!  The block leaves you a nice diamond area to do fancy quilting or applique in when you piece several together.

The little squares really do look like tiny pixels intersecting across a quilt. I think I had more fun creating different colorways in Electric Quilt using this block than anything else. So many possibilities! The PDF instructions and templates include the following block sizes:

  • 4″ Finished Block
  • 6″ Finished Block
  • 8″ Finished Block
  • 12″ Finished Block
  • 14″ Finished Block

Here are a few of the blocks created using this versatile paper pieced pattern:

The resulting quilts are gorgeous. I can’t wait to work on a wall quilt for myself.

My good friend Daisy took on the challenge of testing my smallest blocks which she requested herself! Look how cute her tiny blocks are (these are the 4″ and 6″ finished blocks):

Don’t you love the dark colorway? The black background fabric really makes it pop.  I hope you give my pattern a try. It’s a great pattern for beginner paper piecers to work on, especially the 8″ and 12″ sizes.

  1. Congratulations. Your first pattern for sale. How kool is that.

  2. Marjorie Nath says:

I bought pattern but I can’t get it to download, gets almost done and then freezes my computer. Do you know if anyone else is having problems with it?
It’s a really good looking pattern & I love paper piecing. So I have to try this one.

    • Marjorie – I e-mailed the pattern directly to you. Sorry you’re having issues downloading, I’ve tested the link a few times. It does slow down at the end. I may try zipping it to see if that helps speed up download times for people. Thanks for letting me know.

  3. I just recently discovered your corner of the world and I can’t wait to listen to all your podcasts!

    • Welcome!! I hope you enjoy them. I’ll be putting together “packs” of episodes in the next few weeks for easy download so keep an eye out!

  4. Katie – this is awesome! I’m hopping on over to Craftsy to purchase!
