Sew Day Fun and a Patchwork Footstool

I promised photos from my sew day with Ann from A Girl in Paradise and here they are! I didn’t take very many because we were busy chatting and sewing most of the afternoon. You can see some of her great projects and the ones I worked on too.

My lone star in progress

I was grabbing grommets in the upholstery section of JoAnns and stumbled upon this little footstool on clearance and snatched it up. I need something better for my feet at work and thought this would be a super fun project to use scraps of home dec fabric I have sitting in my bins. This was super fun! Start to finish I think it only took 30 minutes. It’s sitting in my garage now after I gave it a good coat of Scotchguard.
