My surgery went well and I’ve been home recovering. Lots of time to sit and do quilting stuff and small projects when I’m up for it. I’ve been getting a lot done! I wanted to share a little preview of some of the things I’ll be teaching next quarter.
I love this little in-the-hoop owl sewing kit from Embroidery Garden. It doesn’t take very long to make one in the hoop and it is such a useful kit to keep all your binding supplies together. Who doesn’t like having a little stuffed owl carrying around all their hand sewing supplies? It’s just too cute.
The e-reader craze is still going strong and everyone wants a cute little custom case to carry their readers in. I have a Nook Color and a Nook Glowlight so it’s nice having a little case just for them. The case design is a Five Star Font design for e-readers In The Hoop and the handle can be customized a number of ways. It also makes a cute clutch don’t you think?
These handy little keyfobs come in two varieties: finished edge and raw edge from Digistitches designs. They make super quick gifts and are perfect as point-and-shoot camera handles, keyfobs, zipper pulls etc. You can customize them with names too. This will be a quick one hour class session.
Mini update on the whole marriage thing: we’re talking more and I’m hoping maybe we can work through this together and make our marriage stronger. I’m optimistic right now and it would be the best Christmas gift I could ask for if we work on this and we are both happy again.
