I did a crazy thing

After going red last year during my “30-something mid-life crisis extravaganza” I decided I wanted something different for Vegas and just in general. I had an idea of what I wanted to do and sent a photo to my stylist. I think it turned out great! I can also add more colors over time.

And my luck continued last night as I dug through boxes to try and find this:

Podcast microphone

Hurray! I can properly podcast again. I will be recording an episode before the weekend. What questions do you have? Let me know and I’ll answer them on the next episode!

Pretty in Pink! Cute, Cute! I had a mental pic of you with a spool or thread tat on your butt!
    Have a bliss filled day!

  2. That third photo is the sophisticated sexy! Questions, huh? But you know I wanna know EVERYTHING! :))) Can’t wait to hear your voice again and learn about how you guys are settling in, how the corgis are adjusting, did you solve the mold issue? And how come it didn’t turn up at the inspection? I’m sure others will ask you a lot more so I’ll just let them :) Glad you found your mic!

  3. Hurray! Everything is coming together. Let us know how you are adapting to your new sewing space.

  4. Cute hair!! I, too, would love to know how you are all settling in. Are the Corgis loving the new place? How do you like your sewing studio? Loved the photos you showed. Are you liking the new neighborhood? Looking forward to hearing from you!

  5. Looks great! She did a fan job.

OMG. I feel like such a bad friend. I have been way behind because of some of my own health issues. But Darn it girl I am just catching up on podcasts. I slept through the worst of it. Love you. I got divorced in my 20’s and it was the best thing I ever did. You seem to now be doing great. I am so happy that other podcasters were on top of things to help you along. You will have low spots but things really do get better every day.
    Love you….

  7. Your hair works because you have the verve to pull it off. Also, your makeup is fabulous. Getting makeup right is no easy thing. Questions: have you been in the pool yet? Is the new kitchen inspirational for more cooking? A future podcast topic idea: memory quilts such as from baby clothes, t-shirts, late grandfather’s wardrobe, etc. Looking forward to the podcast!!

    Hey Katie,

Love your hair! I just hit 50 and my son had my hair cut, dyed and highlighted. I am thinking of putting some bright red in some of the highlights. I’ve been behind on my podcasts and am just listening to the tearjerker episode. I went through it at 42 when I got traded in on a newer model. I thought I’d never stop crying, but I finally did. I”m happier than I’ve been in years, and still single, with roommates. You go girl!
