I missed Sunday stash earlier this week so better late than never! Also finished the absolute cutest gadget cushion ever using some fun fabric I picked up in Vegas at Quiltique. I can’t wait to make more of these! Really fast (made in less than an hour with minimal fabric) and super useful. I need to make a few more for home and one for work. They’d also make cute pincushions I think!
I fell prey to the Hancocks of Paducah batik precuts sale and loaded up on some Macaron bali pops and 5″ charm packs. Also received my Massdrop Aurifil order (who doesn’t need more basics?) and a few of the Gadget Cushion interfacing panels from Quiltsmart to try out. Plus – I picked up this great stuffed animal book from Amazon for a penny! I loved when you can get a good deal on a gently used book.
This morning I decided to spend a little bit watching some TV and working on my first gadget cushion. The instructions are clear and it went together very quickly. I’ll probably do a tutorial for it once the gadget cushion goes on sale at Quiltsmart.
And here’s Byron in his favorite new place – the bay window seat.
