  1. Dad and I are listening to the podcast together. We are laughing about your description of boiled peanuts being a “required taste” – we think you meant “acquired taste”.

Remember when you were younger telling us that you were going to decompose (when you meant you were going to decompress)? Dad reminds me of that from time to time.

We love you so much and are so proud of you.

  2. Hi Katie
Welcome back, great podcast as usual. I just love the work you have been doing with the sea glass mermaid and frozen quilts. I have downloaded the pattern from craftsy but am unsure that my FAQ skills are up to the job. I would love to get a copy of the frozen one too of course but you mentioned that you may reserve that one for classes only. Hopefully that can be a craftsy class that I can purchase as I am in Scotland and the commute to Tampa my be a little difficult. :o)
Gotta love your mom for pointing out the “required” taste comment. Oh how good it is to be human! If I ever do make it to Tampa can I come to your hours for pizza and that wonderful chocolate desert, sounds so yummy.
Keep creating Katie, you are an inspiration. Xxxx

  3. For Annie (about commenter),

Katie knows VERY well we love her even with her misuse of words from time to time. Her misuse of words is what’s so funny sometimes because she tends to be a perfectionist about things that matter to her. All in all, her father and I are the ones who feel so fortunate. We got a precious child when we had her.

    Katie’s Mom,

  4. Always love your podcast. You are very inspiring.

  5. I love that video of your dogs. They are hilarious. Hope life is treating you well.

  6. OMG I can’t believe I will be meeting an award winner quilter, LOL! Super excited! On another note I am truly sorry about your friend, it must have been really tough! I surely feel for her husband.
