If you haven’t had a chance to catch the tutorial I wrote on how quick and easy these cushions are to sew up I recommend checking it out! Quiltsmart has sponsored a giveaway to send 5 winners a panel of their own to play with. Giveaway open to US Domestic Residents and will end on 2/23/15 at midnight. Winners will be drawn from the Rafflecopter entries only so make sure you enter via Rafflecopter! Good luck!
I’d need to make 2 of these awesome cushions! One will be on my sewing table for pins, scissors and seam ripper. The other one will be on my desk for either my phone, Kindle or glasses! Thanks for a sweet giveaway!
Thank you for all of your great work Katie! We loved reading your tutorial, and can’t wait to see who wins the panels. Good luck everyone 🙂 -Quiltsmart Mandy
I’d make one to hold my iPad so I can follow video tutorials while sewing and another to hold my glasses so I can find them (lol)!!! Thanks for the sweet giveaway 🙂
It would be a great place to prop my iPad while I’m watching videos, then to set my glasses at night so I know where to find them when I’m stumbling around in the morning. I’m still getting used to wearing glasses again after a 40 year break from them, so I need to establish a new routine.
What a cute project and great gift idea! Think I may have to make a couple of them. I think I’d use it for a spare pin cushion at my cutting table; pins are always ending up there and this little cushion would help me stay better organized.
The gadget cushion would hold a book to read in bed, a quilting book or instructions next to your work area/sewing machine…even a nice place to rest your glasses! My cat would enjoy it also!

Thanks for the opportunity!

I'm a 30 something crafter that fell in love with quilting in 2010. I love experimenting with off-the-wall techniques, modern fabrics and even a bit of regular sewing! I share my home with three adorable corgis in Florida.
