Alaska Cruise 2018 Vlog – Part 2 – Juneau Whale Watching and Glacier Tour

Alaska Cruise - Day 3 - JuneauHello quilters! Part 2 of my vlog features our ship setting sail for Alaska and our excursions in our first port of Juneau.  Our tour consisted of about 45 minutes at Mendenhall Glacier National Park before we were whisked off to the harbor to go whale watching. Sadly I did not have time to hit up any quilt shops in Juneau but I promise I make up for that in Part 3 coming up with two quilt shops!

Mendenhall Glacier was gorgeous and I wish we’d had more time there for hiking.  When we go back to Alaska (and that’s a definite when) we plan on hitting more of the rainforests and National Parks.  Plus, I didn’t see any bear this trip so I still have that on my bucket list.  It was very sunny and a bit warm while we were at the glacier so I kept wishing I had shorts on until we were on that boat going out whale watching.  It was chilly on the water.

I plan on filming my small Alaska haul with a quilty mail video all in one so you can see our Alaska purchases and the quilty things I got so that’ll air after part 3. Part 3 should post in the next few days as the video is all edited I just need to export it and upload to Youtube. I hope you’re enjoying these as much as I am editing them.
