Cindy said: Cyndi I loved your story and I think Archie likes his name! Can’t wait to take him to Epcot and The Ravenous Pig in a few weeks for his first outing. There were so many other great suggestions and stories it was really difficult to pick a favorite one.  I had a lot of fun with this contest!  Keep a lookout for my new sponsored giveaway that will begin next week!

Name that Gnome Contest!

I went Etsy shopping and picked up a new travel gnome since poor Carl lost his feet on my last trip and is retired in my closet now. I want to have a new contest!  The last one was so fun and lots of you came up with some very unique stories behind the name of the gnome that you suggested. I already have gnomes named Gerald and Carl so don’t use those! robin said… Carl. With his obvious gardeny persona (is gardeny a word?) he reminds me of Carl Linnaeus, the Swedish botanist and zoologist that came up with the method of classifying and naming plants and animals by a genus and species name. He just looks like a Carl. Linnaeus did a fair bit of traveling, too! Congrats Robin!  I e-mailed you to get the address to send fabric.   Now to finish packing and get my nails done….
